Hey everyone, Getting ready to start assembling IG infantry and was wondering how different people model their support squad stands. (other than the standard kit you buy from SG) If it's not too much trouble I'd appreciate if some of you guys would post some pics of your handywork. Thanks in advance! |

I actually cut the barrels of Ogryn's ripper guns and add them to a modified guardsman to look like he is carrying a light stubber. I will try to post some pics this weekend. I also cut the barrel of the rattlings and add it to a guardsman to create a long las with the barrel from a commissar's pistol as the scope added to the top. Again, I will try to get pics up later. |

Did you guys make or buy the Hvy Wps teams? Are they the older ones? Anyone have any for trade or know how to get a hold of them if they are older models? |

Those are E40k plastics. Not the easiest models to get your hands on unfortunately and they do fit the bill perfectly. Keeping your eyes peeled on eBay or finding some trades here are your best bets. |

Autocannons. I would clip off the gun and the gunshield and replace them with two of these: http://www.tacticalwargames.net/forums/ ... =7;t=17129 then add two sickle magazines cut from plasticard on the top. Result will hopefully look like this: http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/dkkstub.htm Would be even better if the end-result would be castable. Could imagine something made from a Baran Thudd gun Crew model, two tiny wheels (from what?) two small metal rods (wire, i have plenty of these) and the afore mentioned heavy stubbers. |

Yes the autocannons are relatively rare. And shopping them up to make something else out of them will make them even rarer ![]() So if i can i will scratchbuild them. Still don't know what to use as wheels apart from green stuff. And i don't know how to mould something. |
