I figured if anyone would know the answer to these questions, it would be you guys!

Regarding the two(?) resin Great Gargants that were produced:

*Were the original Great Gargant metal bits included with the resin hull?
*Were these models a cooperative effort between GW & the caster?
*Were these sold in gaming stores, like Armorcast/Epicast, or were they tradeshow/mailorder only?
*What year did these release?
*Is one of the resin Gargants more rare than the other?

I'm just generally curious about the gargants and never saw them in a store back in the '80s & '90s.  Any info you can share is greatly appreciated.

From what I know the heads, shoulders and weapons were all sold with the resin bodies. At least I've never heard of resin heads or weapons existing.
I have no officual production numbers but the tall gargant seem to be rarer on Ebay. This may simply be due to the fact that it is (In my opinion at least) the less attractive, so less models may have been sold to the market.
Before the Resin Gargants there was a prototype metal gargant. The only one I've ever seen is in the possession of Doug from DRM. It may well be the only one. I thik there's a pic of it in the De'Aynes gallery somewhere.

Thanks for the info!

Does the De'Aynes gallery still exist somewhere?  I've seen it referenced multiple times, but all the links I have found seem to be broken.

I have a resin Gargant like the top photo. Got it from ebay and the weapons (and I think the head) with it were the metal ones from other Gargants. I'm not so fussed on the taller looking one (and I have plenty enough Gargants now) but I'd be curious to see what the prototype metal one looks like if anyone has a photo saved.
