Okay so I'm going to use this as the excuse to finally paint my LatD army.

I'm aiming at 3000 points but if things stay on schedule or I get carried away, I'll add more.

As things stand the list is as follows:

Coven 1 (Nurgle); 495
+6 Big Mutants, Daemonic Pact, War Altar  :agree:  done

Coven 2 (Nurgle); 315
+2 Big Mutants, Daemon Prince, Daemonic Pact

Coven 3 (Khorne); 285
+6 Land Transporters, Daemonic Pact

Coven 4 (Khorne); 335
+3 Big Mutants, Daemon Prince, Daemonic Pact

Lord Of Battles; 400  :agree:  done

Khorne Daemon Assault Engines; 300

Hellfire cannons; 200

Plaguetower; 325  :agree:  done

Daemon Pool; 340
1x Greater Daemon, 12x Lesser Daemon

I'm going to take the usual approach of painting the cool stuff 1st & so my August batch will be the Plague Tower & Lord of Battles  8v)

I'm being a bit lazy with my land transports & using old orky Skull Wagonz as they look more chaosy anyway.

Look out for the Nurlge Altar/mobile poo cauldron!

Great models :agree: the flesh on the front of the tower and the skull/bone colour on the LoB's arms look excellent.

Thanks guys.

The tower was very easy to do. I primed it khemri brown & then washed the whole thing with brown ink. When that was dry I gave it another was of green & brown ink. the metal areas were picked out with boltgun metal and/or tinbitz & made to look a bit knackered.

The flesh was tallarn felsh to start with highlights done by adding successive amounts of rotting flesh. When this was done i made a very thin purple ink wash & washed the whole flesh area.

Great war altar conversion :agree: and the subtle green of the mutants really helps bring out a nurgle theme.
