6mm Imperial Roman army is growing unit by unit. So far had completed 3 legionary units, 2 heavy cavalry units and scorpion stand. Now I have managed to paint 2 archer units, 3 auxiliary units and 2 commander stands(I'll be using these with warmaster ancients).

Pictures here.

Not mistaken at all. Baccus models they are indeed!

Very good models too. Only problem is those legs which tend to be broken though since they tend to have spears they stay up nicely. Still 2 individual soldiers HAVE snapped off the strips(see if you can spot them!).

But they look mighty good. Now waiting for bunch more units to arrive(4 more legionaries+auxiliaries, 2 more archers, 1 more stand of scorpions and character pack which should give me 5 more character stands. This gives me 1530 pts army all told in WMA).

Yes, I like them too, my army is only based 4 strips to a base so don't look quite so imposing as yours!

I specifically wanted 3 ranks deep for MASS effect   6 strips per base just rocks! Too bad cavalry doesn't fit 2 rank deep though   That was my initial hope but seems 6 models is all you really can fit on single stand. Grumble grumble.

I have replaced the overall picture with 3 new overall pictures. Now you can see latest additions which boosts them to 1530 pts total(including portents) with enough character stands to play under 4k games!

Enter 4 more legion units, 4 auxiliary units, 2 archer units, missing scorpion stand and 5 more character stands(including one which is on larger base. He's the general!).

So overall my romans are now:

general
6xcommander
7xlegion
7xauxiliary
scorpion
4xarcher
2xheavy cavalry

Next additions will be light cavalry, another legion unit(To give me enough to field legal 2k army), skirmishers and double the heavy cavalry. Plus maybe more basic infantry of both type but anything with skirmisher special rule will be priority. Though before these comes I'll start 6mm briton force first. Lots o' barbarian infantry coming once I can get enough cash to buy them. I do have one set I'll be painting as colour test(to figure out quick and efficient method to paint them).

I recognise those miniatures as well.  I managed to pick some up second hand at one point.  I just have to get around to painting them.

I met a very nutty hairdresser in London who was collecting a Roman army in 6mm on a 1:1 basis :)
