Hey folks
Had a quick chat with Warmaster Nice about creating some tasty SM scouts with sniper rifles (his EpiComp winning models can be seen on this very site), and I was wondering if any of you had any expertise re: Exodus Wars and Dark Realms Miniatures ranges, and any in particular that could be used to repro scouts? I love that sniper conversion but personally I'd want them to all be in scale, and I reckon the GW scouts are a tad over sized. I think WMN's conversion works with the crouched DRM guy, but in terms of different options I'd like to find a bunch of models that work together rather than just one.
He has used these crouching snipers from EW, and he recommended maybe the Legionaire Centuria as well, but anyone got any suggestions, from either EW or DRM?  The Assualt Centuria look quite handy perhaps.
Bear in mind I'd like to convert heavy bolter, shotgun and sniper bearing models, so it's a tricky one! I've no problem with doing scout head swaps if the models have helmets, and I might transplant some placcy scout back packs as well to help with the Space Marine feel. Also, am I right in thinking only one stand per formation can be upgraded to the 'Sniper' special rule?
