Many thanks guys keep me motivated
I am very pleased how the models and rust/dirt turned out
This are also the first miniatures on which I used Woodlandscenics Pigments( inspired by Onyx´s website)
one for the tracks and one for the rest
@Onyx I will unreserved steal any ideas/paintingtechnique/colorshemes from your workshop ;)

-undercoated black
-Paint main color(have to look)
-drybrush main color mixed with white 1:1
-add stripes(have to look)
-drybrush whole vehicle again with white(slightly)
-boltgunmetal on weapons and tracks
-add unit markings
-then add scratches with chainmail(have to practice it)
-wash tracks and rivets(if wanted) with woodland scenics pigments(only have the german name maybe "burnt umber")
-then wash whole model again with woodland scenics pigments"brown"
-at least brush a little bit boltgunmetal again on the tracks

I like these :-) More of the current crop of nicely weathered realistic looking guard armies out there.

I lost out on getting some earthshaker carriages on ebay last year, love the models!

That aside, this guard army looks fantastic so far, I especially like those sensor optics.

I think the moulds have worn a tad recently, all 6 of my hydras don't have much detail around the sensor optics at all......
