Option 1, but not by much!

Option 2 seems a little restricted in terms of head movement but how much movement does a 40' tall walking robot need?

I think option 2 has better lines toward the front and option one seems too bowlish on the front but works better at the rear

Option one has more down movement.

I would seem to be massively in the minority, but I love option 2 personally.  Not that I wouldn't support option 1 of course, but 2 looks to me like a knights breastplate with a neck protector (a gorget perhaps?), and that is awesome.

Both would be great though.
