Hi As you may have noticed ive been enjoying cutting up plasticard and then sticking it back together again rather a lot over the last few days. So now ive decided to try something different – learning to sculpt 6mm infantry. My first two attempts can be seen bellow, i chose these two due to the lack of defined legs – eg starting with something easy.  Im rather pleased with the one in the hood, however the guy in the pointy hat looks like an attempt at a Warmaster chaos dwarf that’s gone wrong. For reference, these guys are sitting on 4.5mm discs, and GW epic inf come on 6mm bases, which is why the size looks off. ![]() Poor image quality again...but on my screen at least the pic above shows the model at 11x actual size ![]() I cant even begin to image how areas like the faces of the epic imperial guard models were sculpted ![]() ![]() |

ny one able to offer advice at sculpting on this scale? I recommend picking up some 'ProCreate'. It holds detail much better than Green Stuff, and holds finer details too. |
