Guys (I am looking at you E&C and O-man) when are you initiating Project FTFWFU? I really really want more warhounds and this latest disaster to befall the Epic community has left me crestfallen. Are there any plans in the pipeline for doing up our own 6mm tiny fighting robot walkers? D. |

Pitch M has been initiated, earlier than I'd have preferred. For the moment, I will say no more. |

I'm not terribly hopeful for Pitch M, but best of luck E&C! I really hope to see much more of this project  ![]() However I hope no-one from GW ever peruses this board (or sees the models elsewhere - posting pictures of them on coolminiornot or other internet forums is a bad idea) and take issue with it. Subtly and discretion would be wise as they could come down on individuals or the community like a ton of bricks. |

Subtly and discretion would be wise as they could come down on individuals or the community like a ton of bricks. I presume this could be aimed at my Chaos Crab on CMON. To be honest Glyn, right now I don't give a crap what GW/FW do. They are not supporting their game and and alienating customers. As far as I'm concerned, we should put stuff up there to show them there is a market for these things. Of course I don't want anyone to be hit with a warning but the work being done here is too good to hide and I did clear it with Otterman before posting the pic. |

Posting pictures of a few scratchbuilt models is not going to bring GW legal down on anyone's head. |

Yours just happens to be the first of what could be many Onyx, wasn't aimed at you particularly! Having painted such a pretty model I can understand your keenness to share it ![]() Having models on coolminotnot or other internet sites from one person is zero problem but if 10 different people post variation of the model someone could notice and investigate it and put a stop to it. Hopefully it'll never happen and I'm just being paranoid, but the possibility worries me a little. |

I find it a shame that epic appears to be dying out due to questionably business choices by GW, but this has happened before. This time though there are talented and organised members of an online community who have the effort and interest to keep things going, even if it means investing their own capital in having new/replacement miniatures produced. So, in my eyes, even though GW may be essentially letting EA die off, I feel we are on the verge of something quite exciting due to the number of home designed and produced models.. |

I have no idea what Pitch M is but it sounds intriguing. And, yeah. I just read the topic further up the forum, and I'll pitch my hat in the ring, too. |

*stands on soap box* From what I have seen on this forum. Epic is no longer epic...Its evolved passed its beginnings at GW and is now thriving due in no small part to the internet and some very talented designers yeah I'm looking at you O-man and E&C among others. With the matter printers the sky is really the limit the only thing we have to worry about is copyright on images, but lets face it, all a Necron is, is a year 40k Terminator 800. They wanna drop epic its up to them, but its up to the rest of us to keep it alive. *gets off soap box* Just my 2 teef ![]() |
