Would you change them? I reckon I would want all my Orks to be 7 strong, likewise steel legion (with a missile launcher team making them a modern multiple of 4 in the squad), both on warmaster bases. My Marines I would want on circular bases, prob stick with 5 strong, likewise their Chaos counterparts (though these could be 4 strong to show past superior tactics and attrition over the centuries). My siegers would have to be 7 strong on narrow strip bases to get the 'going over the top' look better. Eldar I'd be tempted to make 4 r even 3 strong to give a very spare look to them, again on round bases. The few Nids I have would definitively have to go in the ant style columns I've seen here. |

As I'm just starting up I have the luxury of going with aesthetically pleasing basing first time around rather then going with the standard. The marines I've started are on 26ish mm washers 5 to a base. Don't know about what I'll do with other forces, I'll probably stick to this scheme unless I go with guard, who I like 5 wide on strips. Tyranids I definitely like on rounds like in onyx's force. Anyone got any thoughts on orks. I was thinking probably about 5 per on rounds as well. Might mix up the numbers a bit though. |

I like using warmaster bases for command units, with about 4 per base. You can spend a bit more time modelling some scenery onto them such as sand bags, collapsed walls, paving slabs, etc. I always think horde armies always look better when they are tightly packed together on a small base. |

Renedras 15mm range for about all. 15x20, 20x30 and upwards. Perfect for PoW gaming too... ![]() |

I'd use static grass on my CSM bases instead of flock. And I'd have the bikes mounted on BotFA bases instead of the square WFB bases they're on now. Otherwise I'd probably stick with them as they are. |

I would like all of my bike stands as 3 models on 20x30mm bases. All my old stuff has 2 models which feels too small now and looks cramped. A lot of stuff I've acquired is 3 models on 20x40, and they look way too spread out for my taste. 3 models on 20x30 is more units and fits a good middle ground between cramped up and sparse, imho. I'd also like all my Nids rebased in single file ant-style. |

GW 20x20mm for everything. Mix of 3-5 per base depending on size and type. Sand, undercoat and a drybrush grey. |

I just use standard strips for infantry. I was never keen on the space marine/titan legions square bases. Makes life easier. I also used to use warmaster bases for my vehicles, but after I ran out and finding that you know have to buy them by the sprue through mail order, I use renedra ![]() |

As an American I do not have 2P pieces and our penny is way to small. A 2 pence piece is 25-26mm the closest thing in size we have is a quarter and I'm not basing my guys on .25 cents! I plan on using these: http://www.gf9.com/store/popup_image.php?pID=369 http://www.gf9.com/store/popup_image.php?pID=369 If someone however wants to send a roll or two of 2P piece I could reimburse said gamer. edit: sorry for the threadomancy I didn't realize I was not looking at post from page 1. ![]() |

I use the small FoW bases for all of my infantry and small vehicles, with 2-4 infantry per stand. Leaves enough room to add some base detailing if desired. My original Epic collection was obtained second-hand, already pre-mounted. Sold them off a few years ago, thinking that ![]() ![]() ![]() So, all of my new Epic minis (note to self: don't trust formerly FLGS to order stuff from GW mail order and receive it in a timely fashion) will be based to my specs. ![]() |

The only things I'd consider shanging would be to put my Wraithguard on the handmade 40x12 four hole bases im using for my Nobz and stormboyz. ![]() I'd also consider using the single file basing one of my freinds uses on his Mech. Inf. He then can put a stand on either side of the transport, which is asthetically pleasing, and allows him to easily keep them in cover. SG |

I'd like to rebase onto Renedra recessed strip bases. ![]() |
