Hi I started to gather Tyranid swarm and unfortunately chances of buing tyranid infantry at ebay cheap and in supply are quite slim so i am considering DRM replacements but i havent been able to find any good upclose pictures of their infantry (DRM page photos are colourfull blobs from the distance - totaly unreadable to me) Do any one have clos up pictures of infantry types ? preferably unpainted ? no - gargoyles are only i can see clearly so non termagants and non hormagaunts would be most intresting |

i am waching, and there are lots of Dominatrixes here... infantry always go out of the window with prices (and is mostly sold in bundle with hierodlues and hierofants wich seem to be selling for 20 pound minimum...) |

Vampire beasts and workers, fairly close up.  A very quick basic paint job on them -- they can be painted up to be far more spectacular. A slightly better pic of Vamp beasts. |

Anyone care to comment what would make good carnifex/biovore/zoanthrope proxies from DRM? Are the claw beasts too small to be carnifex, if so I guess the medium beasties would be ok. |

But in case ... just go to the Seeds of WAR link here. I posted pics of most of their stuff I got from them. Same goes for Exodus War ... just go to the links. Under the Sci-fi Wargames Forum here ... And all will be revealed ! ![]() |

Thanks carrington and Legion 4 WOrkers and vampires d olooks promising but unfortunately they are 4 limbers i would preferr something 6 limbed ;/ i will order one pack of each and look at them in person but i dont think they will mix well with GW termagants and hormagaunts but with insane prices (one box of tyra infantry (+ some assorted metal and bloody hierodule went for 60 pounds... today) i will have to consider making whole army of them to keep them consistent |

Just keep looking on Ebay. I was like you seeing all the high prices and put down a significant wad of cash for a complete (10 sprues worth) but offsprue infantry box for £50. Then picked up the same again but already glued for £25. Hive Tyrants, Dominatrixes, Exocrines and Dactylis are cheap. Haruspex are also reasonable. Malefactors, Carnifex, Trygon and Zoanthrope appear to be the most expensive metal brood creatures at £8-£10 for 3 (2 for Trygons). Harridans and the Bio-Titans along with infantry are expensive. I converted my own Harridans, Vituperators, Hierodules, Hierophants, Hydraphant and Trygons. Still only got a playable 6000pts with another 4000pts unusable due to Common/Uncommon brood limitations. |
