:_(

Needless to say, I need to be frugal with my hobby stuff for awhile... so here's what I've come up with instead of going eBay crazy:

My Doomwheel:

Altar of Khorne:

Counts-as Doomwings:

Counts-as Squidkeeper of Secrets:

Counts-as Stalker tanks:

Vindicators:

Feral Titan (also intend to us it as a counts-as Questor)

So, it's been a pretty productive week, in a really depressing sort of way. Ah well. My favorite guitar tech won't be in town until the middle of summer, and he figures it'll take him 2-3 weeks after that. I guess I've got time to paint now.  :sigh:

I love the squidkeeper. Where did you get it from?

Woah if that happened to my guitar I'd be pissed!

From a $1 Store bag of sea critters. No otters, but plenty of starfish, crabs, squids, octopi and seahorses. It's pieced together from a squid, a starfish, and an octopus.

Very creative.
Can we get a couple more angles on the titan?
Also, a parts list perhaps?

:-( mate; bad luck on the Gibson; what on earth did you do to it?I thought for a moment though you were implying that IT was going cheap; in which case i'd of been interested!

Can i suggest that if you don't have the cash to fix it you use strong oak (other solid wood) doweling and a drill to create pegs/splints to put it back on? Finding a suitable glue shouldn't be to expensive; but getting the angle right might be a precision job that would require a workbench with vice etc.
My (acoustic) heary goes out to you :-)

The site of a Guitar in such a sorry state brings a tear to my eye.

Nice conversions though.  Sea critters make for an awesome job on the chaos stuff.

Dropped 1 foot onto the butt, then fell just right (wrong?) onto the headstock. Either a freak accident or it was getting weak. The thing is 30 years old. My guy says it's not uncommon, and he can fix it but it's labor intensive and takes a long time.

My wife is out with the kids & camera right now, but I'll get another shot or two soon.

The body is a Mechwarrior promo piece that the local FLGS threw my way a while back. I cut off the torso and flipped it, cut off the canopy, cut a hole for the head and trimmed it here and there so it would fit back on the legs. One of the guns is a vending machine toy. The other is a fuel canister from a Sentinel with a couple of greenstuff barrels and a bit from an old Chaos boltgun stuck the the side. The tail is the towbar (or whatever you call it) from the really old undead chariot Citadel put out. Finally the head is of course one of the muzzles from the chaos bits sprue.
