I thought I should make a thread for just random things I'm working on/doing. It's not all going to be Epic, it might not even be painting... It might be random bits of creative metalwork, jewelery, mask making, Games I've played, artwork I've done, CAD project..

However as there is really not a forum that really fits this and the fact that there will be some Epic Ork stuff in here I've stuck it in the Epic 6mm section, I hope you don't mind.

Wandered into GW today, they were doing a stock take, but I've got an old mate from when I worked there to come and learn Epic next week. I will probably play a 3k game with him, but I thought I would run through a small 1k game first to give him an idea of the rules.. he said there were cards last time he played, so I guess it was Space Marine era when he last played.

I was going to go with these armies for the 1k game

ORKS
3 Stompas 225
Normal Warband + 3 Battle Wagons + 2 Gun Wagons + 2 Battle Wagons + 1 Oddboy = 495
Kult of Speed (4 Skorchas + 4Buggies) + 3 Buggies = 275

GUARD
Regimental HQ 500
Artillery Battery 250
Rough Riders 150
Sentinels 100

I think that will give a good idea of different types of units can do, what do you think (I know the Guard army isn't technically legal)

Tomorrow I start on making a skaven mask for someone at LARP.

Should work ... IG are a bit light on Infantry & AFVs though. BTW, Cards were mostly used for SM2/TL ...
