well I have been one to complain about F.W. and there quality control practices from time to time so i feel almost obligated to post this.

I generally place rather large F.W. orders to try to save shipping costs, in the past this has usually been followed by long phone waits to complain about casting quality and breakage. i have noticed over the last year and a half or so that it was gatting a little better. my last two orders had only a few problems, except the firestorm debacle, but i think of that as a design problem (brass rod for the barrels was the way to go if they wanted to keep scale accurate).

well i just recently placed a rather large order and what to my surprise it arrived in 3 days ! and well its frakking PERFECT !?! i mean all of it ive checked, right down to the 2 packs of kroot  warriors, i mean each and every little kroot is right on, no breaks, nothing ! oh sure there is a good amount of flash and a few big vent spurs, but i have yet to find a significant mold line on a fig. i due still have to go thru the grey knights i ordered, not a big part of the order at all. but the kroot thing made me so happy i didnt want to ruin it.

now maybe i just got really lucky  but like i said, since ive complained so much on these boards. i dont know what there doing different , but WTFG F.W.  :agree:

Excellent! I'll shortly be placing one of those big postage avoiding orders myself, so this is good to hear

My last order a month and a half ago was absolutely okay. The only problem was 4 Broadsides in the blister instead of 6, some smaller misscasts considering some crisis suit legs and one stealth suit broken from its small base, which was easily fixed.

Otherwise it was pretty perfect. Well the tanks have a relatively high amount of mold lines with some warping, but I figured thats okay. Only some backside hatches were a bit "crusty"...

And I got broadsides and crisis (one blister each i think) to make up for it.

More probs with my AI order last winter. The Tigersharks were pretty clogged with misscasts on top of some details and some broken parts on two Barracudas.

But good to hear that it seems to be quite okay qualitywise.

speaking of the Firestorms....no longer listed...maybe they realized there was a design issue?

EDIT* scratch that...just not listed under Epic anymore...*

I got a bunch of epic stuff last month for my birthday from my wench, and I was very surprised by the quality. The earthshaker cannons on the basilisks weren't even bent!

Don't think they and some of the newer AI released stuff ever were?
