I've been thinking of starting up a website to showcase my Epic Armies recently and discussing this with my house mate who handily enough also happens to be a professional photographer; so today we set up a quick studio and took some nice snaps to show off to all you folks at Taccomms ;-)
The first set of army pictures and close up's are his, the second set are mine.  Unfortunately he lacks a macro lens but beggards can't be choosers! Any comments or criticisms with view to these pictures being used as a showcase would be great (but then again so would general appraisal!)

Seriously awesome - love the use of Warmaster Mini's and of course the Orc trucks... definitely gonna have to steal those ideas :D.

Since you asked for comments on the photography; the photos are great and definitely look better properly lit, though possibly a little too much so with the Lords of Battle Photo somehow, the red looks a bit bright on them compared to the others, which I think is down to the photo, though it possibly could just be my imagination, it's only a subtle thing. Majority of photos look sharp and in focus, a few a little less so, but focussing on such tiny models is tricky for cameras, particularly without a macro lens. These are very minor points and I wouldn't have mentioned but for the fact you'd asked though, overall they look great :agree:

I look forward to seeing it in the flesh and getting some games in! :smile: Perhaps some time early next month maybe, I'll message you back to arrange something next week once I've (hopefully) finished an essay.

Funny really, I've been gathering minis for the same project over some time now and I've been looking to use the skull battlewagonz too. Guess the skull is really the link here. And the shanty look.

Main reason for not have much done yet is the demons.. I just can't come to terms with the warmaster ones. Let's pray in blood and skulls that someone makes some generic 6mm "evil creatures of X", where X is blood, magic, pestilence and swinger clubs. :devil:


Oh and I really like the look of your army and will copy it.  :wow:
