Here's a Space Pharaohs monument I wasted my Saturday building since I am waiting to be accepted for the BWC 2 Yahoo group to obtain some plans for the model that I am waiting to build. The black base is a 40K 20mm base, the small discs are 5.5mm epic troop base discs. I envisage that it could be built open (with a junk jewellery green crystal on top) or closed. Green rods are 1mm diameter, like common styrene rod.

Very inspiring, fattdex! Are you doing the 3D print thing?

Cheers bigears- I'll give it a shot if I get the opportunity- I'll talk to a friend on Monday who may have a connection with somebody who operates one.

...Now that I've just gone and bought a bunch of monument models from somebody...  :vD

Second video added.

You sure got a purdy monument, city-boy.  What software did you use?  Or should I click on a youtube link to find out...?

And now to your regularly scheduled programming.  This week on The Pedant Show:

The black base is a 40K 20mm base

Say what?

The black bases that the minis are sitting on are regulation sized 20mm slotta bases- the type you use for warhammer 40k miniatures. Just to show scale
I use Lightwave 3D
May get to make more next weekend!

You can get 20mm slottabases but not from GW.  Standard 40K infantry slottabase is 25mm.  23mm at the top of the bevel.
It muddies the waters a little.  Is the base accompanying your digisculpt specifically made to be 20mm in diameter, or is it a straight copy of a 25mm slottabase?  I'd guess the former but nothing beats direct confirmation. :;):

I use Lightwave 3D

Ta!

May get to make more next weekend!

In lightwave? (No copypasta?)  Or...?  :oo:

For now I am going to forget about the Pyramid and start a few new things- Possibly a Warbarbeque and an Orc Stamper ;-)

Heya Fattdex, I have some Necron symbols in 3DM format if that would help you any.

And, come to mention it, all of my 3DM files are yours for the asking.
