Metal - 2 Dev & 2 Tac units ... Plastic - 1 Dev & 1 Assault ... Old School colors ...     Painted a green ^ on this Tac Detachment. Every Det is marked differently for quick ID ...       If an SMs sword didn't mold out ... I upgunned him ... a bitz Flame Pistol.   Added a Bolter from an upgunned Rhino + some unique SM poses ...   Upgunned Cdr with scratch-built M4/G11 Hybrid weapon.   "Squat-type Hvy Wpn ...   Plastic Dev & Assault Dets ... note Cdr's Jump Pack ...    Line after line of Imperial Warriors ...           More L4 SMs

OOOOOOHHHHHHH! Great job. I love the large use of banners for these units.  :)

And great conversions on the characters. Love the one large weapon the one has!!

Many Thanks as always !  jfrk9mp - The Flags are from the SM1 era. All our Cmd Stands have them. On the gaming table it reminds me of those old school WWII style horizontal battle maps. With unit locations marked with flags. And moved around the map, just like in a wargame. :)  And I like adding weapons to some figures that G/W "neglected" to arm properly ... :vD    W/H, well if you hear the March ... then my labors have been effective ... 8v)  Next up ... The Dark Angel staff - BN Cdr & Staff, Tech, Medic, Chaplin Asmodai and the Librarian "Two Heads Talking" from the Original Death Wing ... :))

I won't !!!  :vD   Or Weasel Fierce and Lame Bear(really!!) !  Interesting how the G/W crew chose American Indians as Deathwing Troopers ... I liked the idea.  In old G/W text, IIRC The ASTRONOMICON (?!), all the Space Wolves had Roman/Italian names (?!) ... which is cool cause I'm of Italian decent.  :smile:   So DWWFY !  Ã‚                   Note on these Boys, I "tried" putting Bolts on their shoulder pad armor, just like in the old days ... But the best I could was get 4-5 ...  :_(   Those are small shoulder pads !  :oh: And the facial details on these OOP metal SMs without helms is limited ... but again ... I tried !   :sigh:

Ah yes, I remember the old Space Hulk Fluff - both Italians and Indians would have worked as they recrute from different worlds, anyway :) Nice work L4 :cool:

It literally took over a decade to collect enough metal SMs to make these units.  Many I got from the wonderful blokes on Tac Cmd ! :agree:   I still have a few that I will continue to add to and collect to make another "Ironman" detachment ! :grin:  Thanks D/S !

Donations to the cause are always welcome !!   :vD   Yeah putting studs on the S/Pads is way over the top ... I did the same for my IMp/Fst SMs ...  So call me crazy !!!   8v)  And I decided to add the 9 extra Metal SMs to my Dark Angels HQ bases WIP, and one on my Ultramarines Librarian Tiguruis stand.  And ... are you ready for this ... I'm making a Cypher stand with last of them !  :oops:   :vD   Dark Angels gone wild !!   :laugh:
