OK First Post!

Well i was pondering what to do for my Epic forces and decided i don't like using models to fill in if i haven't got the models to use so it got me thinking (yup ouch!) Guhdra did some ace conversions of the old Plastic Battle wagons into Flakk trukks so how hard could converting other units be?
Well here's my attempt at it and i think they came out pretty well!
C&C welcome  :))

And here's how i did it for you guys that might wanna try ;)
For the body i used a Shokk attak gun as i have loads in the epic box.

A little trimming and we are ready to start.

a small piece of P-card (a nice thin bit)

and add a view-port and teef ;)

Now some bits for feet, i used the lower spike with a little trimming of the underside so it would stand flat.

Legs n feet!

Attached :D

Now for a gun, this was a Gun sight for a SM i think just have a rummage through the bitz box for stuff ;)

Now for the arm.

We went 'lost in space' style for this one ;)

Now the rippy bit  :vD

All done! :D

For scale the old plastic dred.

And a shooty boy. (the shooty boy gun works well for a Killa kan gun as i used on the other one )  :)

Cheers

That's really nice work, they fit in just fine. I like the chain blade one best... I'm just kinda' weird that way.

Wow, that is an extremely clever conversion!  :agree:

Even better: it is simple enough to do, uses parts that most Ork players will have lots of spares of, and is quite adaptable to any other leftovers bits you might have.

You know, conversions like this should all be linked to a big long list of various categories and pinned at the top of the forum section. Otherwise, when you need to find these sorts of conversions later on to, erm 'borrow' from, it is hard to find them again.

Great use of bitz! :agree:

Nice looking Kanz and thanks for the walk-through.  You got the scale spot on from the looks of them.

Aw, I wish I could do neat stuff like that. I have to use a super-giant computer to overcome my stupid clumsiness.
