I find myself in possession of a large block of aircrete. Cue one killkroozer and at least one rok.

The kroozer isn't such an issue as it never actually takes a place on the board, but Roks land - what size are they meant to be? cos i ain't got a clue.

thanks.

What's their transport capacity? I'd base it on something with a similar loadout.

BIG

capacity of 20 units + 8 grots., LV's count twice

I don't think there's anything comparable currently in the game.

I could twice that of a landa.

landa area = approx 10cmx2cm ?

so the ork rok would need area of 40cmsqrd = a circle just over 70mm in diameter = 21 meters in 'real' life.

I suppose they have to be small enough to brake...

Nah, no self respecting Ork would put brakes on anything! :D

If you're referring to Drop Roks from the OGBM list I made mine about the size of a lime, or slightly larger than a golf ball and mounted them on an old cd. Ultimately they could be any size you want. Maybe the orks didn't gouge out the entire asteroid to use for transport, so the Rok is very large...or maybe they managed to squeeze i really tight in a fairly small ROk. Like L4 says DWWFY and go for whatever you feel looks good :)

I'd say try not to go larger around than the normal Titan base for its "footprint" and you won't be far off.

The size of a Titan-base would be ok :)

So maybe the transport capacity is more like 85 units and 200 grots but they give it a tansport capacity to reflect the average number that survive impact with the ground  :))

It's those 200 unit of Grots that act as the "brakes"...  or "splatz" as de Boyz callz 'em!

Methods for surviving re-entry vary from late opening parachutes to rokkits to simply packing in grots as shock absorbing padding.

I'd say titan-base size is about right.
