...continued from previous post (and page).

The Swarm Lord was based on a Flames of War base to keep it squarely with the other units.

and some lovely zoanthropes.

Next up is some terrain and finally, some objectives (other than the old Macragge ones I always use in games),

I think the camera flash is accentuating the difference a bit. It is clearly discernible in real light, but not by this much. Anyway, looking forward to a next game.

Actually, I do. I'll be away at work for a couple of days, but I can check the postage cost and send a PM on Wednesday.

I haven't had much time to update lately. Nothing much to add, for now, except for a Rough Rider Platoon.

I had some fun trying out two horse colour schemes that differ a little from my usual ones. When I set out to paint them, I had this crazy idea of the Adeptus Ministorium ordering specific camouflage colours, so my army group has "approved" two colours; one flat brown and one yellow (since I use yellowish brown bases). Then I heard from a friend that in the old days of military cavalry, commanders used to ride grey horses in order to be seen. Anyway, my platoon commander felt so obliged that he promptly asked for a grey horse.

The commissar had to be a real show-off so I gave him a white horse to show off his purity and bravery as he brandishes his chain sword after the power lance hits home.

And the whole platoon:

As always, thanks for watching (and cheering)
