As I am looking for some epic 40k era IG stuff, people usually have issues finding out if they have correct versions (and if they have never seen other ones, 'most detailed' usually doesnt work). So my question is how to explain which ones I want ? If my memory is right, sm/tl era stuff came as one piece, or one piece + turret. What about armageddon era vehicles ? Are they cast in single piece + turret ?? I have never seen them so I cant tell. |

Most of the E:A IG Vehicles are copies of the E40K Models but the tracks are separate on the E40K versions. The E:A versions are basically a hull & turret ... that is the short answer ... Once painted up you can't tell the difference between E40K & E:A models. The SM/TL versions are completely different models, with generally only a turret & Hull. |

The first row is mostly E40K Leman Russes, Epic:A Russes are pretty the same. The last 5 Vehicles in the second row are E40K Chimeras, again Epic:A are the same ...

The first Russ is SM2/TL and next two are E40K/Epic A ...

Ok. One more question. Epic 40k era vehicles were very detailed and there were a lot of different (5 each for Leman Russ/Chimera according to epic collector website) versions of pieces, differen hulls, turrets etc. According to GW website, all Leman Russes and all Chimeras are cast in just one version. Am I right ? |
