Hello!

Ive been thinking about getting the IG character pack from GW. However, Im not sure its worth it, as Im only interested in some of the minis (the commissars in particular).

So my question is: what does it contain? The picture on the GW online store shows 10 different minis, and says it includes 6 stands. Does this mean that you get 3 of each of those minis shown?

And doesnt it suck that almost all minis have gas masks? I mean it doesnt fit too well with the troops, if you dont have the ones w gas masks... On the other hand, itd be cynical in a way fitting the imperium to give only the officers gas masks, while letting the cannon fodder live with whatever air pollution its protecting them from!

Ok i will label the characters shown in the picture of the UK online shop 1 2 3 4 5 for the first row and 6 7 8 9 10 for the second row counting from left to right.

You get
3 x Sprues with 2, radio operator, psyker/priest, 1 and 10.
2 x sprues with officer, standard bearer, 9, 8 and 7
1 x sprue with 6, 3, 4 and 5

So there are actually 14 different characters whom 4 aren`t shown.

The German online shop shows them all:

Not to hijack your thread Brother-Captain Parzval, but could someone break down the Space Marine character pack for me?

What I'm really after is the commander with the powerfist and Marine holding the horizontal flag. But those guys aren't pictured in the pack.

The German online shops shows all Space Marine (onl ymissing the second Captain which looks exactly like the plastic Sergeant and s#the second Librarian and Chaplain which look almost identical as the ones shown in the picture) characters but very small:

Actually I think this could be worth the money for those 5 commissars. I have some of the older plastic ones, and with these two new versions, itd make for some nice variation. Some might also work well for conversions of course.
