Really nice stuff bob; beauty in simplicity. What are you using for the black wash? You/it seems to have done a good job in making it an even wash that stays in the crevices! Yrs, R> |

Ach, your poor Russ has had a nose job. I wouldn't think it would be too noticeable unless someone pointed it out. I like your rubble/ruins. |

MoK: Its just chaos black, the trick is to get the right amount of water in the mix I guess. |

Baneblade Co finished! At a later stage I need to add a banner for the command tank, or something else to distinguish it. |

Yeah Ive been thinking the same thing myself... For some reason I feel that its better to have the bases when moving them around though. Maybe theres something I could do with the bases to make them look better, but I dont really know what or how. The problem is I do all my stuff with green bases and flock (except Titans), so I dont want to break my "system" either... |

There are other bases out there. I've seen some of the other guys use bases from other systems to good effect. I however do not use bases, just not my thing. |

Progress is slow as I am spending more time stripping and cleaning the models than painting them... Boring... |

After completing some great trades (thanks again guys!) and some bidding on ebay I now know more precisely what my army is going to look like. 2 Superhvy cos Leman Russ co Tac co Art co Gorgon co OR Hvy co Assault detachement Bike det Rough Rider det Sentinel det Robots Leviathan This comes to just under 5000 Netepic points, to which Titans could be added for a total of, for instance 6000 pts, which is perfect, as I have SM, Eldar and Ork armies of similar size. |

At last Ive now prepared the remaining tanks and the Leviathan. Probably wont be able tp finish them tonight, but I might do a great deal. I am sure the painting will be quicker than the stripping and cleaning part! |

Great job on the minis, I am using a similar painting scheme for my guard as well. Are you only using the older model Leman Russ?? |

Thanks. Yes older models only across the board in fact. The only exception (sort of) are the Gorgons, which are mk2. Mk1s just look wierd. |
