Ok, so maybe the title was a bit of artistic licence. I did get the Despair part right though. I'll give it my usual disclaimer. This is the best I can do. JUST A LITTLE INTRO TO WHAT'S GOING ON Well, I'm back from work already (9.30hrs). Sent home after being spotted as an undercover Plague Bearer by the boss in my attempt to infect his workforce. I've had the cold (man Flu) since Saturday and can't seem to shake it. Personally I think I've upset Grandfather Nurgle somehow (too much tidying up, I told the wife nothing good would come from it). So I can either succumb to his Plague and become a Nurgling or appeal to another Chaos Power in order to rid myself of this affliction. (The Emperors DEAD get over it!) I have decided in my delirium to try to gain the comforting attentions of Slaanesh in order to fight off Nurgles deprivations. Well, it's never very pleasant when blowing your nose to find it coming out your tear ducts. Ewww Yuck! So while I wait for the sweats to subside and the meds to kick in (Aspirin/Paracetamol tablets, Large Coffee and some Brandy Liqueurs - more small pleasures for Slaanesh's amusement) I have taken some WIP photo's that I will show in the hope that your own pleasure will attract a Keeper to my plight. Come Back!... Oh, dear! I seem to have scared Mr Pinchy's new plaything away...   Work proceeds and Slaanesh hears my call... The postman for once brought a parcel to the house instead of just the letter telling me to pick it up from the Post Office as he usually does (Grumble, Grumble lazy Grumble, I'm doing his job Grumble). It contained Dawn of War - Dark Crusade... What! It's reference material for my Necron Army... yeah, the wife didn't buy that one either. I have put it aside until I finish Mr Pinchy. While painting I have put on a LotR DVD, again for comfort. Has Slaanesh ever known such a devoted Acolyte? I feel sorry that you are mostly all at work just now and unable to partake in such comforts. Never mind, enjoy the cold weather and long day toiling while I have another chocolate and watch DVD's while occasionally painting when my weakened hand can manage to hold the brush. |
