Thanks. It seems many of my blogs become neglected. Cast aside like so much garbage. I blame myself naturally

Here are the jetbike masters, almost ready to go. Just a couple little touchups, like adding bolter barrels below the canopy on two of them. Had to cut down the side fins in order to fit 2 on a square base.

Any suggestions before I make a mold and cast them up?

From the Terrain section:

Here is the (almost) finished flakturm. The Hydra guns are magnetized, as is the Defense Laser portion.

I still need to add more point defense systems (thinking of using titan carapace multi lasers) and adding a landing pad decal on the top deck (which will be covered when the Defense laser is attached).

All in all, not to bad.

If thats "not to bad" then I have to throw out my terrain. :D

Great weathering on the concrete and a great mix of the gothic 40k style with the usually boring look of a concrete flak tower.

These are fantastic Bob. Awesome idea and execution. These should be part of a character pack - I would definitely want a pack if they were. ;)

Those jetbike masters look great. Impressive greenstuff work, and the tower is simply amazing. I must visit the Terrain sub-forum more often.

I wanted another unit of Devastators, but didnt want to have to dig into another company to add them. So I was thinking "Well, I have a bunch of vehicles, so I am really digging into the Armory. Why dont I go all out and make it a Techmarine squad?"

I have always liked the techmarines, but they rarely get any love. They drive the vehicles, fix the weapons and armor, and really ensure the Chapter can make war. So being the DA's i figured they would have a bunch of old, nasty weapons.

I painted them all in Mechanicus red with DA shoulder pads. Made some scouts into servitors, and converted up a Thunderfire cannon, which is actually pretty small if you look at the 40K model.

Anyway, here they are.
