Thanks Interix,

Yeah, some game systems are a bit full on but gaming can be quite a buzz and fun... when/if you can find the time. Those ancients of your just look great. Keep up the good work, new stuff is always appreciated here.

Great looking 6mm stuff Interix, would you be able to take a shot of some of the Baccus cavalry with an Epic miniature? I've been eyeing up some Baccus Cavalry as proxies for some Rough Riders and was hoping they werent too big or too small.

No worries Haarken, Here's an attached piccie:

In order they are: DRM robot/Necron Proxy, a Centaur conversion, Imperial Guard Rough Rider, Baccus Parthian Cataphract and Imperial Guard Standard Bearer.

As you can see, the Baccus rider is about a head taller than the GW one, however the horse is about the right size. Actually, I've just been rooting around and found a pack of Heroics and Ros 6mm Pathan tribesmen (hoping to use them as part of an imperial guard regiment, scouts maybe?) and they look more of a similar size to the GW guardsman. Here's a picture of them:

I think they'll make a nice unit for the Persian/Indian style Guard army that I'm planning.

Thanks Interix that's a great picture, just what I was looking for. It looks like Baccus may be a little too big for my purposes though, think I might have a look at GHQ cavalry, I'm really not keen on paying GW £12 for 18 models when I can get 45 figures for £6 from Baccus or 24 for $10 from GHQ.

The H&R Parthans look pretty good scalewise against that GW guardman, can't wait to see what you do with them.
