after a great day of playing with moscovian and one of the other guys in my local store, i had the urge to paint my epic guard. originally slated to be a pure minervan list, i decided to paint the army a lil more "admech" so i can easily run the stuff as an admech army as well. i painted the entire army in a week, each day being about 3 hours of work minus the weekends so 15 hours of work to pump out 5000+ points of epic guard. really tested my speed painting skills to make a cohesive force that looked good on e the table. looking forward to getting most of this on the table at one time (looking at you bill!) im pretty sure everyone knows what everything is. most of the stuff is FW, minus the russes and a few other things. the deathstrikes are bit bashed from some old chassis and some plastic IG missiles. ![]() ... ![]() ... ![]() ... ![]() |

Jiminy Cricket, Dave, you are a painting machine. I can't wait to shoot at them in person next weekend! |

Quote: (The_Real_Chris @ 27 Aug. 2008, 20:15 ) Wowsers batman, what you doing next week? well i got some warmachine stuff coming in tomorrow that i was bang out for the weekend, 8-10 models, should have them done by sunday. besides that i dont have any more pressing engagements so i can do some fun things. i have a few rhinox riders to paint for my ogre army, a few more brute ships for my ork BFG fleet, and a couple inquisitor models to paint. im also starting space wolves for 40k, as a long term painting exercise, and im tempted to start the orkimedes gargant mob. |

the reason i got into epic in the first place is to play LARGE games, i try for 3000 at minimum. i look for 5000 point games and have no problem spending a day playing a game. at gamesday next year i can see myself getting another 3-4 thousand points worth of guard for a second wave. i definatly want at least 3 more reavers, 4 more warhounds. and get 2 warlords to have a proper titan contingent. |

Very, very nice. The blue Titans amongst the red startles the eyes a wee hair but all are wonderfully done. Great army. |
