Hey all after lurking for a bit on the boards since Mark Logue showed me the raiders supplement I've finally decided to come out of hiding and show some of my stuff. Looking at the forums though I'm very impressed by the community and level of sheer awesomeness of the minis and people  anyways onto the minis..... first up my first epic army the good old guard (3000pts)       Some objectives

Love your marines. They are stunning. Which chapter? I have been doing something similar with my nids - what are you using the rippers as? I was planning on using them as Raveners but putting then 2 to a strip base. Excellent work. D. |

i love the patina on the models. looks great! the white titan is cool. are you using washes on a white basecoat to do the guards? ive thought of trying that but time, as always, isnt on my side.. |

what are you using the rippers as? I was planning on using them as Raveners but putting then 2 to a strip base Have you considered using the Epic Lictor claw/arms. Cut them off the back plate first then glue them just behind the Rippers head. (There's a small gap just right for it.) That's what I've done and it's a good fit. Nice start on the Nids! I swear its about time an Epic weekend is due for Perth. I almost think the idea of just holding a one day or two day gaming event would be better than a tournament format. Given that so many of the Western Australian players have a good selection of different armies it would be a shame not to change armies for each game. |
