Well I finally finished converting my two Carnifex to accompany my Hive Titan Tyrant, but before I finish them up proper, I thought I'd have a laugh. My web sites down at the mo, so trying to use photobucket in the mean-time. ![]() ![]() ![]() Oh, and the original image I wanted to enter for the comp, but probably wouyld have broke the rules. ![]() |

Just need to add a few more finer details (elbow spikes and talons) and I can start painting. Here's a few pics. Still trying to get the hang of new new camera. More at photobucket. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Is it based on the larger TL era Epic Canifex model? Regardless it looks superb. Awsome detail ![]() |

Yes, its the 1st edition carnifex which is the larger one. I just took the body, stuck a 40K Gaunt head to the front, added loads of green stuff for the underbelly and tail, then reused two of the claws with a little green extension. I've made two to accompany my Hive Titan Tyrant. I also used two different methods to do the back. The first was an all in one, very hard to do, but straight forward. The other I actually built one plate, let it dry and built the next. Easier, but getting the angle right is harder, as you can't go back and alter the first ones. |

Well.. after a long break doing another Tyranid model (Tyrgon), I thought I build two more carnifex. Both of these ones have claws. Unfortunately I didnt take any photos of the second. Arms held together with tac if you're wondering ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
