Well a box was delivered the other day with about a quarter of an Iron Warriors army in it. 7 foam trays worth of Chaos Marines, Rhinos, Vindicators, Land Raiders and Decimators... Absolutely beautiful. This is the first time I've seen and painted an Iron Warriors army... ? ![]() Anyway, onto the pics. ![]() ![]() ![]() I haven't really been able to get good photos of this colour scheme but hopefully this will do. |

I don't think all the awesome scratch sculpting efforts help in producing armies quickly Kev! I think Onyx has achieved near perfection of the arts of speed painting awesome Epic armies. |

Thanks all. ? ![]() "So how are you painting them Onyz?" They are sprayed silver first. The gold details are added. Next is a wash using diluted black acrylic paint (with a drop or 2 of dishwashing liquid). The yellow and black chevrons are added after and then lightly drybrushed silver to give the impression that the paint is wearing away. A few highlights of the gold again and then its sprayed with Matt Estapol funiture spray to seal/protect it (I was going to use Dullcote but it made the metal too flat). Next lot finished. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() There's gonna be lots of Rhinos and infantry. Luckily the Chaos designs allow for plenty of variety. |

Nice Demolisher. I actually don't mind those Rhinos painted as IW vehicles. |
