Awesome stuff!

You wouldn't fancy doing some of that stuff on a white background that I might pinch for datafaxes, would you?

Kev, if you email me your pictures I can edit out the background for Lord Inquisitor's list.  If we have your permission, of course.  I just want the best resolution pictures possible for obvious reasons.  Obviously the lighting is the most important so if you can avoid using the flash and get a couple of lamps on either side of the unit, so much the better.  moscovian@hotmail.com

LI, if Kev sends me the pics I'll take care of cleaning them up like I did for Raiders.  I cleaned the datafax pics down to the pixel for those.

Yes, competing lamps will help wash most of the shadows away, and white light bulbs are best I've found out.  There are others here who know far better than I but I used torch lamps close to the units when I did mine.

Don't worry about a white background if you can't manage it.  For the datafaxes I'd have to clean them up anyway since they aren't 'truly white' (ie lacking all color).  Just as light as possible and straight on shots for the infantry like you'd see in the books.  The vehicles and dreadnaughts you can pose if you think it makes for a better look.

Thanks for volunteering your images! :agree:

LI, once I get those I'll clean 'em up for you and send them on the way.

I was thinking about painting my GK Terminators, like  Old School. The color of their armor was based on their Psyker rank ... Lexicanian = Gunmetal ; Codicier = Bronze ; Epistolary = Silver ; Chief Librarian = Gold ...   But I think now I'll paint them all in Gunmetal like the Jaffa on Stargate ... :))
