Unfortunately as I've just moved and still rebuilding my study, I'm unable to do any modelling and painting ![]() But with the new daemons and Soul Grinder... who's going to be the first to attempt modelling these? |

Soul Grinder is kind of a fleshy Defiler. I don't like it much, but most seem to love it. |

I tend to use the 40K models as a major inspiration to paint and convert my epic models. My first was Commisioner Yarrick, I remember doing this and then they had something similiar a few weeks after in WD with him in a game and the rules for him in epic. I think when they brought out the last chaos codex, I did an epic conversion of TYphus based on the picture in the codex. A few weeks later the 40K model was released! I've also been doing Tyranid troop conversions to look like the new style Tyranids. I did Blood Angel characters based on the 40K models too. OK... my head's inflated that its about to explode. But someone else did the Raven Wing Master and Daemon Princes (something I'd like to try). So I'm not the only one who use 40K as inspiration. I havent painted my daemons, but its definately something I will probably convert. Just wondering if someone is thinking the same thing. |

Soul Grinder is kind of a fleshy Defiler. Actually it seems like the logical (or as close to logic as you can get with Chaos ![]() there are rules for Com Yarrick? do you remember where to find them? |

It's not the current edition of Epic, but back in the days with the cards (2nd edition?). I think it was around issue 150 of WD, but not at home to check. |

I know kev101 is working on Primarchs Angron, Magnus, etc. But I don't know why G/W didn't do other Deamons for Undivided Chaos Followers. Or is there some "fluffy" reason I missed ?! But OT, I'm sure one of our enterprising denizens here will try their hand at the new stuff in 6mm ! ![]() |

Oh. Apart from the characters and skull grinder, aren't those... old daemons? ?New models, yes; but with this topic I thought there were going to be a few troop types without appropriate Epic minis. ![]() Still, yes, it would be fun to model all of 'em. |
