Phwoar!  Thanks for that, L4. ?I might postpone the Ordinatus Minoris until I can get a couple of placcy rhinos to cut down for drive units (DRM hammerjacks may look more the part, though!). ?Maybe. ?But definitely when I have a go at an Ordinatus Majoris. I didn't realise the Hellbore and Capitol Imperialis were so big, either. ?Suddenly all those 40K rhino conversions don't look so extravagant. |

Greetings Lord Primarch II! As usual, another stunning example of your mad primarch painting skills! As an aside...I've often wondered why GW chose to give the ordinati... a multiple tracked chasis while modeling the other super large thingies with one set of very long tracks. I would hate to have to try to do a field repair on an Cap Imperial that threw a track...which given the length of its tracks...it would probably do the first time it tried to make a hard turn....but it does look cool! Thanks Boys ! ?I'm always glad to show my stuff to the crew ! ? Van you better post some pics of your Big Boys too! ?There is a war on ! ?Yes, the old H/bore & CI are big Bustards, Vermis ! ?Wombat, I'm glad I'd never have to fix a CI or H/B transporter track. ?When I was assembling them many moons ago, I thought the tracks looked familiar ... Turns out G/W copied a 1/72 scale M113 APCs Tracks !!! ?I commanded a company of M113s in the late '80s ! ? 14 of'm ! ? And if you tried to pivot steer a CI, you'd probably throw a track, no doubt. ? And I don't know what the equivalent of an M88 Tank Recovery Veh. is in the 40K Uni, but to Recovery a CI, it'd be a Big Mutha ?!! ? And I like that tune Wombat, sounds like I've heard it before !! |
