Hi

I have just started a Khorne themed lost&damned legion and want to had some traitor navy for some air support.
Browsing forge world web site i found this cool little flyers
Forge World
With ?little convertion to do, think these can make pretty descent chaos fighters
Someone here already buy them ?
If Compare in size to a Game Workshop Thunderbolt does it match? They seem more smaller than the others forgeworld ?plane. Want to keep proportion right :glare: Took me forever just to write this ? english is not my first language ...

Thanks

Hi Oli.
The FW models are always going to be bigger as they are designed for Aeonnautica Imperialis. I have the marauder bombers and when compared to the GW ones they are over twice as long but they are much better.

I would go with Lightnings over Tbolts for Khorne themed as they are much meaner looking with forward swept wings.

Have fun.

D.

For some reason, I cant seem to find a photo for size comparrison. However, since they are on the same base, you could use these to get an idea:

These are much bigger...

Can't find anything about lightning attack fighters on Tactical Command.

If I go for lightning It will be a blind buy at 70$... not sure i want to spend that much on 4 miniature and be disapointed about them ,so the solution is to scractbuild them ?:glare:

I will copy this to 1/1285 with some chaos upgrades

Starcom

What you guys think?

THANK YOU! I have a load of these Starcom toys from years ago. I think that I was the only person in the country who liked them, and I got quite a few. When I wanted to find more info, I couldnt remember the name of the line. Still love Starcom!

Mine too. I got the Shadow Parasites for the wings, but never picked up the Bat.  :(

I do have the 'good guys' crane thing though, which is cool. Lots of the designs were actually really good, a nice mix of industrial with scifi...

Oh... flier things... cool design.  :confuse:

Yes, all the F/W aircraft are bigger that G/W. The F/W are actually more in scale with the Epic Infantry . I have had these for years, both types but SIB.  They were some of the first Epic models F/W did.  Stats for both versions are in the E:A rules. They'll be part of my Imperial AF ...

as said all the FW aircraft are larger and more to the ground scale as alot of people seem to forget how big aircraft are!

and Starcom... iv got a box of that somewhere. my only regret is turning a starcom transpor/bomber into a wreak for 25mm sci fi..

Feel kind of nostalgic after watching those video.
The good old days...

I manage to do some work on the chaos lightning.
Chaos Lightning
Not much done, just rough green stuff. The wing set will have to wait ,it is more suitable to sculpt the core without them.
The nose and back section will be cut and dry sculpt with more sharp edge for a more chaos feel.

Yep
