It was featured in While Dwarf and is from a Golden Demon manymanymany years ago ![]() ![]() It was the inspiration for my own Steel Hammer conversion actually. I did consider using Gargoyles as ...well Gargoyles and the metal Warlord Command head as well as a few other details like the devotional bell.. There's lots of great ideas in that model. Not all of them that great implemented, but considering that most Imperators at the time was just run of the mill standard kits in that boring static pose, this was something new and interesting I think. |

Yes, isnt it a cool conversion. I had to go back and followed the link, and then started reminicing, remember those days when Epic was a corps game of GW, when we had a categaory in Golden Deamon, those, gents and ladies where the days. Although I must admit the minis today are far better than then, except maybe the ye olde metal Space Marine infantry. On a side note, odes anyone know whre the gargoyles came from, and those winged skeletons, I have a Warmonger Dies Eras in the making and I am looking to add some more chaos to it. Cheers, and thanks for taking me down memory lane Aaron |

Wow, thanks for all the cool links. I think my favorite is the one with the Warlord Titan taking his Warhounds for a walk. The 2005 US entry is actually a fullsize models, a friend here in town knows the guy who painted the model. Other than that I think there is a lot of inspiration in those links. ![]() Laters |

They remind me of some WHFB skeletons that were climbing out of the ground. I thought the "wings" were 40K Dark Angel helmet bitz but could be wrong. |

The winged skeletons are from a space marine chaplin. They are the end of the crozius arcanum, just snipped off. If I am not mistaken they are from one of the OOP chaplins. Laters |
