Did a test print of my Iron Tanks. Some adjustments to be made. I think I am going to redesign the Iron Shield and Retributor turrets entirely. Also I am not sure if it should be 5-10% larger...but that would of course increase cost.

Thanks :)

Elsmore: You mean on the print or the paint job?

For the print, the shape is fairly boxy with lots of straight edges, so the prints came out very clean. Paint wise I used and airbrush for the basic shading, and just tipped off the highlights with a brush.

epic: The green is a bit of a custom blend. I started with a dark green similar to Dark Angles green and added some sunburst yellow to the mix for a couple of layers. The top highlights are pure sunburst yellow.

Painted some grey knights for a friend. Paint job and basing is pretty standard. Heresy with such nice sculpts where it is tempting to go overboard with the details (and insane in the process with this amount of miniatures), but they're good enough for tabletop standard and I think the overall effect is sufficient.

The recipe is simple: Airbrush vallejo model air silver, wash with thinned down asurmen blue, and an even thinner wash of army painter dark tone. I've later discovered that the newer Drakenhof Nightshade works pretty well so you can skip the dark tone wash. Give everything a light drubrush of pure silver. Then pick out the details and paint as usual.

Blimey, that's a lot of points! All you're missing is a Psi-Titan. =-P

Those aquilas and lighters are gold dust now! I've resigned myself to just not including them in my GK army and going for chimeras instead.

I love the way you've done the cockpit windows.
