Maybe this explains how the dreadnoughts get around quickly.
Then again, one whacked tread and it turns into a Bunker Carousel.
Totally kick-ass conversion work, though.

Uhm. Well. I've got no problem with a big land carrier at all but to me it is still a bit too much of a shoebox with predator turrets stuck on. Form a logical POV you'd only really build something that big if it was the only means of transporting some really big weapon. Otherwise it'd be much wiser to have several smaller vehicles. I guess what I'm missing is something thatsort of ties the model together so it's not just (all to familiar shaped) turrets and sponsons on a frame.
Not critizising the craftmanship though (The super heavy tank looks awsome ) But the design isn't quite to my taste I think.

By that logic Titans aren't the brightest invention either (legs vs treads).
I just thought it looked cool. Reminded me of a gun laden Krieg WE.

Well, it makes a lot of sense to trundle along a battlefield in a ruined administrative complex. Especially if it's manned by the Fire Angels SMs and an Ogryn and a Sentinel....

I cant believe that didnt win the category the other year V!
I'm with you WMN - great modelling, but a tactically pointless vehicle. Then again there arent many tactics or strategies in 40k anyway!

If I were going top build something like a land carrier I would make it some sort of mobile armoured base that has C&C capabilities and workshops for maintaining/repairing vehicles in the field. Imagine sometyhing that stops and releases a load of smaller, weak repair/rearming vehicles. Maybe has a field hospital too.
