I recently started playing EA; wonderful set of rules!
i just thought I would share a few pictures of one of the few first games.
I really found out the hard way of the results of packing 3 formations within the Barrage template of BP4 whirlwind formation...YIKES! never again...
The Objective was to control the power building complex. The Blood Angels won in 3 turns...

Thank you , gentlemen. I'm sorry that its not too great a posting of the game,but I got so exited about how the EA rule system works that I had to share the first game or so in pictures. I really love how the initiative goes from one opponent to the other. I used something like that in my micro armor game (MicroPanzertruppen).
One difference is that each side would roll for each formation to see who would function. In this way a whole side might be able to function (actions in EA) all componies before an opponent. But it was stilll up to the die roll! I feel this is much more realistic to the IGOYOUGO system of other systems...

Yep, I feel that Epic's orders system is its single best feature.

Well, that and having hundreds of minis on the battlefield. :D

Thanks Chroma. I downloaded and saved the sheets for the next battles. Now I need to get the lads all gussied up for future pictures (and battle , of course).
