DRM Industrial Infantry, decked in AM red and War Griffons(ish) camo.
The lighting isn't great on these. ?I might try to improve on that sometime. ?Or... maybe I won't be bothered. :p ?It's more likely that I'll pull a quick black glaze over the blue stripes to calm them down.

EDIT: Bah.  The pics aren't showing up.  So here's clickable thumbnails.  Let's see if they work.

They look great....do you use a seriously big magnifying glass to do that camo?

Ta all! ?Zap: no, just good lighting (good for painting and sculpting, but for photos...?). :;): ?But they're just random black lines with some ultramarines blue on the ridges.

Talking about bad lighting and glare and stuff - the red parts are why I'm thinking of completely dumping inks in favour of paint glazes, even if matt varnish will kill the shine.

Great job. Nice detail with the red bricks on the ruin to mimic the colorscheme of the infantry

Well done, Vermis. I've thought about using Industrial troopers for Skitarii. You might have sold me on it.

More targets for Guard DS?

Vermis they looks really good.  Did you highlight with just dry brushes?

No, more troopers for me to inflict damage.  :p

Holy Great Mechanical God Vermis they are lovely - bring in all you have done on Thursday and don't forget the exodus wars tanks and stuff so i can see scales.

When you have a good selection of photos send them my way and I'll post them on my site.

D.

More thanks!

WMN: someone noticed!* :D

DS: that's a big compliment! ?And based on those photos too. ?Thanks!

Dave: I only drybrushed the bases, and did a little overbrushing on the ruin. ?Everything else was based, washed*, and non-metals highlighted.

Daemonkin: I'll try. ?Might be tricky.

*Random babbling bits.
Red brick: despite the 40K background and it's penchant for 'circus colours', I felt I had to justify the AdMech red somehow. ?I could've gone a little more terracotta on the bases, though. ?The ruin looks too much like some funky phenomenon during a Khornate invasion, or something.
Washes: I've started to get a pretty good 'dip' effect from fooling around with glaze medium and tension breaker (I might have mentioned already). ?I used that on the cloaks/coats/robes, with VMC german grey. ?Unfortunately I fluffed the red clothing and went with brown ink. ?Too light, so I used VMC smoke. ?Still too light, so I used black ink. ?Three generous ink layers contribute to that bright, shiny look that makes using duller mechrite red pretty much redundant. :p
And lastly: yup, I mistook the cuffs of their headgear for pipes and tubes...
