@deacon: I wasnt happy with the pinning idea as the wire wasnt stable enough for the heavier models, so I just used pieces of plastic sprue to glue them directly to the base.

@Vaaish: Yeah I think so too, but I only found 5 of those wings, so 2 have to suffice.

Nice work. Can you tell me where you got the pylon from? I've seen a number of them around but haven't been able to find where they come from. I thought at first they might be OOP forge world, but forge world deny ever having made them. I'd really appreciate knowing where I can get one of these.

@Eagleworior: Thanks, I hope those subtle suggestions from the others gave an indication from where I got the minis.

Also have a small update for the necrons, the model I worried about the most, the Deceiver CTan is finished. Its not perfect but its the best I can do with my very limited modelling skills. (thats why its more of a kitbash than scratchbuilt)



Its based on a Warmaster Chaos Sorcerer/Character, the body is a whfb high elf sleeve and the rest are wires (that are too thick) and some kitchenroll.

Also in 2 weeks theres going to be the first Austrian Epic tournament ever, so look out for more updates in the near future!

Tehe first draft of the zombierobot list is ready (only basing missing) and was tested on saturday. I really like the different feel of the army, since I usually play IG. So I am pretty happy I managed one draw on saturday. (also thanks to pretty great dice rolls, LOVE living metal ) But mistakes are nice to compensate if units keep comming back.
Ill definetly add some warengines too the army, the orb is already in construction and a barque will follow afterwards.

And the story of the necrons continues with some scratchbuilding/salvaging. Bought a 40k destroyer and it provided the basis for 2 objectives and my warbarque, which is a decent value I think. The barque is alittle to big but its only a little larger than a FW Shadowsword, so I am quite happy with it.

The Orb is kinda small compared to it but hey nobodys perfect.
