Looks great!

Curse you. I don't know that I can continue smuggling pieces into my hobby room at the rate you are producing them. Sooner or later, my better half is going to notice! I will need to distract her with something....and sadly, she doesn't find some things as diverting as I do. :sus:

:agree:

I never like the FW chimera chassis so the Armageddon enclosure did not interest me. Now that I see this lovely chassis, count me in!! :wow:

Do you think it would be possible to modularise the chassis? Providing inserts for other laser/flame/mortar armed tanks instead? Again i'd be interested in those.

How so? The criterion is that it must fit my bronzed enclosure, and by Chimera-esque in overall size.

Like what I am seeing, hope that these great designs somehow become available for mass shipment.

I'm not keen on the slabs, I'd prefer to see bogeys.

I have enough of the existing sort that I'll be sticking with them myself, but it looks good and different.

Only possible very minor tweak I could suggest is you could possibly make the cloth bit around the heavy bolter a little more rounded off? It's a bit too angular to suggest cloth at the moment.

How about a modular armour look? Would make sense int h mass produced everythign fits one hull grim far future of endless war.

I think it looks sweet!

I see it as a great base for a low-tech SP-Mortar and SPAA variant too!

Does this mean the hull seen on page 4 is a discontinued design?  :_(

Incidentally the "official" chimera chassis in 40k has been redesigned slightly - don't know if any of you guys have come across the new hellhounds (C&E surely must have :)).

Indeed, both the Chimera and the Leman Russ have had a re-design. I intend to grab a Leman Russ when the new hullform is released and de-biggify it in toto.

Might we be seeing this?

http://www.warseer.com/forums....5266408

Definately a big thumbs up to GW from me there. Dissapointed with the sponson and hull mounted weapons though. Would've liked to see wider tracks, but no way was there going to be that much of a radical redesign. The new turret is great too...
