I'd really like to hear some news, but I think I've given up on it. It's been 4 years since it was started.

Doubt we will ever see this project come together. It would have been a fantastic model especially if it was done true scale.

There is a long time scale to these projects, it's taken us about two years per Behemoth type to get them ready and released. The sculptor creates them as a labour of love and has both a full time job and a child to contend with.

In short, it will happen, but it won't happen any time soon :). We have the Medium Behemoth coming up next then the Massive Behemoth.

It will be a Behemoth though and not a Large Walking Robot as we have our own IP and have little interest in encroaching on other companies IP.

I don't think most of us would have issue with it being a behemoth. But its style (armour, design) is a big thing and I must confess that I would probably be quite a bit less interested if it were to sport armour plates styled like those on the Small and Large Behemoth already seen.

I understand perfectly that such a huge model is an investment sink and that many other models and ranges may have priority, but as it wasn't even an EW model at the start, I think many of us expected a soonish apparition (and actually, "Soon !" was exclaimed a great many time as a release schedule). After a time, I think many of us realised that it won't happen in any time frame we can make project with, and that it will probably not look like the model we loved, planned on, and saw finished and matter printed.

These are no reproaches, but understand that 3 years and a bit since we saw the model matter printed is nowhere like in the "soon" range. I don't think I have to feel guilty about being sceptical about this. Specially as the way you talk about it seems to indicate that the model is or will be completely re-sculpted, and thus not be the model we are looking for.

Massive behemoth are fine (Hell, I have a large one already), but I think people keep prodding this thread once or twice in a year for a reason.

Thanks for your response. We won't be releasing the model in It's original form but it will be produced as a Behemoth.

I know this isn't what a lot of you have been looking for, it also won't be appearing overnight. I'd be surprised if it were completed next year. It's coming after the Medium Behemoth which is a lot closer to production. The LWR will need a complete resculpt before it'll be release ready.

Even in It's original form it wasnt castable without significant work.

Dissapointing really i loved that original design very IP biased but still unique and without actually being a copy for any existing design. It's a pity this model will never see the light of day it was awesome.

Don't get me wrong i like the behemoths i have some in my collection but was really hopeing to get the LWR as well.

Mucho sad. :( :( :(

Ressurection!

I have been away from these forums for a long old while now but have been missing epic too much and decided to return to some floundering projects.

I've revamped a couple of parts and had new ones printed of this Large Walking Robot, moving forward with new avenues to achieve production.

Apologies for the lack of any progress in years!

I shall upload new pics tonight. Design hasn't changed, just made parts more practical.
