Thanks chaps! I discovered an old fantasy Goblin kit from my old Warhammer RPG days and found some pieces that would be handy. The banner and a seperate sheep's skull head went together to form the banner. It's also where I sourced the Bad Moons icons that I've glued on to a few other minis. Seems like Barbie scale is useful for some things! :D

Thanks again all for the kind comments!

I spent all Saturday morning & afternoon painting up a Deathskulls mob. They're ok, but they're not my finest hour. I know the bases need another coat of paint.

There should be a rule that they get an extra 5cm movement bonus or something!

Anyway, over the past few weeks I've kept going back to my Bad Moons Gargant and kept tinkering with it. I think I am done with it now... step away from the miniature! ;D

Spot on mate. Your orks are looking good and coming along nicely. Good work, keep it up :)

I killed the blue on my Gargant and replaced it with green, but other than that I have left it alone.

Now, you all know me, a traditionalist who isn't far behind the Emperor in terms of age... So what I'm wondering is what colour I should paint my Snakebites? I've tried to find out what the traditional colour scheme is but I've drawn a blank. From pics I've seen online they are green with some yellow highlights, is this right?

The others I think I have got down fine, please correct me if I'm wrong!

Goffs: Black and white
Evil Sunz: Red
Bad Moons: Yellow
Deathskulls: Blue
Blood Axes: Green

Advice much appreciated! :sos

I was very pleased to have won this off ebay. The thing is, I'd like to see some more colour in it, specifically yellow. If I were to paint the odd panel yellow or red with yellow checks, does anyone think this will be detrimental to the look of the Gargant?

Also, if there is anyone who knows what colour those Snakebites should be, I'd be really grateful for the advice! :)

For snakebites, I would go for browns and natural colours, like tan, bone colours, with whatever you like for accessory colour.
