Also while fiddeling about with my titans one of the waepons broke of my SG warhounds for god knows what time. I've actually disliked these models ever since I painted them, so now I've decided to give them a little overhaul. I remember seeing someone on these boards doing a Chaos Warhound conversion using Spac Marine shoulder pads. I think it works surprisingly well on these models too. I'm going to add a few more bits once the greenstuff dries to conceal the origin of the bits slightly more, but I do think that it adds a bit more bulkiness to the models.

Looks good ... But I had to do a little reworking of the Hound Mk.II too ... one of Epic's poorer endevours ... Image

More WIP. Added some small pieces of cable tie for the rear vents and some greenstuff pressmoulded ornament from the Reaver's shoulderpads to make it tie in with the other models better thematically. I'm trying to decide werther to overhaul the gold areas on the entier model for a shinier look. The paint chippings could probably use some repair work while I'm at it... :p

Nice work as usual, Warmaster.

I think that's an improvement on the sculpt. Really not fond of model though, I think the FW and OOP metal ones are superior in look to that.

No I didn't fancy the model very much either. Got the pair back when I had plenty of cash for collection's sake. Beefing it up like this helps alot though. I was thinking a bit about doing a little something about the head as well but I think I'll leave them as they are for now. Adding the shoulder gives them a posture much more like the FW models and they still tie in quite nicely with beetleback style models. After playing around a bit I gotta confess that I am tempted to do a similar conversion on my old original style Warhound models (Heresy, I know.. :p ).

Hmm... Maybe take the head from the 40k Space Wolf backpack? Won't look anywhere near as retarded as that one does.

You've done some nice work to the model, but it's still a horrible model. Even worse than those horrible Eldar titans they released back in the day.

Actually, your newest conversion, imo, would look good with a death's head type head insted of a wolf head. Too bad that Imperial Eagle is hogging up so much room. Regardless, nice work and I envy your skills.

I just noticed those conversions and pretty much agree with everyone else here. They are naff sculpts and a pain to put together. I hardly handle mine and have no plans to paint it currently due to the sheer fragility of it. You've made them look so much better. Nice work.

Not exactly miniature painting, but I needed some more images for the NetEpic Gold Adeptus Mechanicus book, so I did a bit of photographing and photoshop tinkering.

Stomp! Stomp! RAWR!

[Accent=Japanese]Oh no! Mecha Godzilla! Run away![/Accent]

Sorry. I get these urges to add sound effects sometimes.

Awesome work, WMN, wothy of the tome.

*edit* I see my accent tags didn't work. Why is that?
