IMO you should go with the recent ammo feed idea, with the ammo going on the internal side of the weapon to the titan.

Envisaging a Quack cannon with a tommy gun style clip don't feel right to me, plus it makes it look too much like the gun on this guy.

First on the left.

The tommygun still does it for me though if nothing else jives.  I almost like the tommygunmore because you can option your own armor.

I see what you mean, very similar style. Hmm.
Well, in the interests of making something new and different I think I shall move my attentions to the ammo feed set above the rear of the weapon.

This would also look fairly close to the feed option Glyn suggests, but without the left/right problem.

Sorry about derailing the topic a bit but I was just wondering how many heads you were planning on doing?

I've always loved the original prototype warlord titan heads:

I just think it would be kind of cool to see an updated version of that. A nice little reference to a more than 20 year old design too. I think it would still fit the new design quite well.

My own humble (but not entirely sucessful) attempt at scratch building one:

There's also a bunch of pictures in the Adeptus Titanicus rulebook tht could be scanned if necessary :)

Head wise, I'll be making 3. Two in original Plastic Bettleback Style, one with eagle, one without. and the new "hound/wolf" style head I designed.
Also, here's some pics of the quack cannon:

Cute. :)

I assume the ammo feed is 'sideable' on the Quak cannon, so that you can have it on the left or the right?

Indeed it is. Quack will be in 4 pieces, I'll get a pic of them soon.

Very cool! The only thing I dislike is the aquila. It just seems wrong to have a symbol rotated like that. Apart from that it looks wicked!  :O
