Ooh!! Love the green on the bunkers. That's a great look. I might go back and re-do mine that way.

Look, look, I found this thing in a box!

I am a *tiny* bit excited about paining this. A tiny-bit-lots-ands-lots.

(started this last night, then had to wait for daylight to photograph)

could do this up really nicely and quickly with an air brush, shame i don't have one :P

Yeah … turrets. I'm wondering about predator turrets for the towers. Then could do pred turrets with the back-turret ammo storage clipped off for the perimeter. E40k era raz turrets are nice as well as they have a lil' marine modelled on them. EA Helios turrets are an option as well … and the otterware crab guns fit well …

I'm aiming to paint the castellum over the holidays, but probably not get the turrets sorted.

Yes, yes they are. Didn't think of that, despite having a handful of different turret options rattling around on the desk!

Anyway, didn't get any more castellum done, but I did mess about with some lego last night, with the aim of fitting more epic into a smaller space:

In position and loaded up:

6mm fantasy on the left. IG super heavies, krieg LVs and skitarii armour on the right, topped off by chaos squats.

That is a really good idea. it works perfectly as you can rebuild when you need more space! Shame all my Lego is for storing more lego!
I'd buy some just to do this, Except for the fact that it would still end up being used to store my Lego! haha!

Hi!

That is probably one of the most slick uses of lego I have ever seen.

Kudos to you sir!

Every time I use legos to cast, my daughter attacks me for stealing hers. Her legos were bought because she thought mine for casting were hers. What is mine is hers. What is hers is hers. Hell she is 4! This way of thinking must be gene encoded.

I could never get away with that many legos on a shelf without her trying to steal them.

Tell me about it! My son isnt getting lego for christmas this year as he has too much already, it is all over the house yet when he catches sight of my small bag of dirty, silicone encrusted lego he demands it....
