awsomness !! you know what would just MAKE that uhm.. quak cannon ? some kinda ammo feed or shell crane for loading, it would just do wonders for my suspension of disbelief.    :) always had a problem with the set up of the cannons on the old warlord and imperator models, "how DO they load that thing ??"

I was quite tempted by making it like a VERY large revolver, possibly "upside down".

Going to tweak head now.

I havn't changed the location position of the head as suggested, but have reduced it's overall size by 5%:
What do you reckon?
Just pretend the head is the same one and the weapons are the same.

Size reduction works perfectly.

Put me in line for a definite order of 1 Large Walking Robot and selection of weapons Please...

Here's my idea on the Quack. The revolver part just doesn't fit if it's set above the barrel of the weapon:

Now that you're nearly done and all....

How about some space/a minor hardpoint and models for carapace multilasers?

Surely its a bit odd to have so much armour then expose the munitions?

The Quack Cannon hasn't got any armour yet.

Yes, the reduced head version is the one. The head bothered me as well, but I think your second attempt nails it.

>Maximus Rex right arm shudders< Princeps Aurelius looks over at the exploded munition round in the revolving magazine and thinks, "Your impudence has guaranteed your doom".

I say, make it look cool and don't worry about too much realism.

Plus, it's just the 40k style... look at the Warhound Titan's weapons... all the armour is on the top, and the underneath has no armour and loads of exposed cabling!

They would have several layers of void shields protecting themselves anyway, even if some bits are unarmoured.

nice, i hadnt seen anything wrong with the head, but the reduced size definatly works better. quak cannon magazine looks great, still think he might need a giant speed loader in the middle of combat, but i guess they have a machine for that.

My words exactly :) Realism is a rather elastic concept in a universe that has daemons living in parallel universes, 40 m tall walking battleships and people fighting with swords when they got perfectly good guns to shoot with :;):
