Thanks everyone; I thought this thread had got overloked during the last week, but then a load of people reply all at once! :D

@ Scream & SlaaneshChild: Je doit envoyer le photo's sur epic_fr plus souvent... :;): et oui, tu est un cultiste vrai de Slaanesh, le seigneur du Porc de D?mon !

@ Hotwire: I've just spotted your new thread, you weren't kidding... :D

Today I found time to convert up the IW Basilisks - simple really, just cut some spikey bits off some other models and stick them at random on the models.  Plus I added some Chaos Mutants to represent slaves loading the guns...

I'll try and get these finished by this time next weekend.

Thanks for looking!

Back with some more painted minis - those Basilisks.  I think they look a bit plain - does anyone else think they need some kind of markings on them?  Not just that, I dunno what markings to put on them...

I've also started finishing some Super-Basilisks (better name needed), pics at a later date.

Thanks for looking! :)

Very nice, Firestorm. The only extra markings I've put on my Basilisk was to distinguish separate detachments, but that was back in the SM2 days.

Back again! ?I've been chipping away at these (very) occasionally over the last few weeks, but today I made a concerted effort to get these finished. ?Apart from some minor Green Stuff details, and a bit of Chaos-ifying (i.e. Spikes adding :D ), here are the 'Super-Basilisks':

The one on the left is the first one I made, way back in November(!). ?They do need a better name - at the moment, since I'll initially be using the Decimator rules for them, I'll be refering to them as Brimstone variant Decimators

I'll try and crack out the green-stuff and finish these off to start painting by next weekend.

Oh, and I'm also going to return to some Epic terrain pieces this week!

Thanks for looking!

P.S. here's a little teaser to give a hint of what I'll be adding to this army once these war-machines are finished... :;): :blues:

Very nice. It looks like you've used Land Raider tracks with Rhino bodies.

Right you are, V! :D  And thank everyone for your positive comments.

Here are the flyers, primed and ready to be painted.  As I intend for these to be used for all of my Chaos armies, they will be painted black with gold, brass and silver trim

I've also been working on this, an objective for the Iron Warriors: pill boxes and barricades made from 40k Barrels, Chaos Tank hatches, and cut up sprue

Now, I'm going to enter in to a flurry of painting, 'cause I've got to get a few bits ready before the 14th September, our Launch weekend, where I'll be running an Iron Hands Space Marines v Iron Warriors & Traitor Guard participation game.  So, in the next 3 1/2 weeks, I need to paint the following:

- 4 Predators
- 4 Assault Marine Units
- 1 Hunter
- 1 Thunderhawk Gunship (Metal version)
- 6 Chaos Hellblades
- 2 Chaos Hell Talons
- 3 'Brimstone' Pattern Decimators
- 2 Cultist Command stands
- and finally, 1 Chimera :)

Expect more updates soon.  Thanks for looking! :)

Erm... I'm not sure what you mean? ???  There's a white blob, which is just some dried PVA - but other than that I can't see anything...

Thanks for your positive comments, anyway! :D

I think that it is a Chaos bomber at a different angle. ?:D

I thinks CS's got it - no wonder he's the boss, got all the brains, see?  :p Nice boss, clever boss, wage rise please boss...? It DOES look weird from this angle , though.

But the PVA blob IS intriguing too  :;):  :p

Now that's what I call an ambitious list. I love that objective.
