Aye- if the GW W40k models were nt so pricey I would be tempted to steal err I mean imitate MoK's excellent idea.

Steal Away!

Well...these Supa Stompa's work out a hell of a lot cheaper than Specialist Games ones! I've managed to get 3 out of one box of Killa Kans for...less than £30 I reckon. Given the cheap price of plastic Stompa's their loss versus buying SG models is hardly spilt milk!

Anyway, the two Supa's are done now: not as good as I'd have hoped and no where near the quality that I managed on my Red Gargants a while back: my painting seems to have gone down hill of late: I've lost a little bit of the neccesary enthusiasm but hope to get it back when I tackle something a bit bigger like the Imperator or Mega Gargant.

Aye those bommer models are really heavy on the detail! Love the green nose, looks like a ork grinning.

Wasn't too keen on the supa stompa models at first but they've definitely grown on me.

Aye :-)! That's exactly what I was going for! I'm a real stickler for painting EVERYTHING on detailed models...keep forgetting to KISS!

What was it about the SS's that you didn't like CS? I'm always interested in creative criticism :-)

Thanks for all the other comments, I've got 3 hours to finish the wagonz!

Flak Attack!

Again, just bought up to a decent table top standard to get the army all ready, full army shots tmw: I also look forward to seeing some of the new armies other people have been working on :-).

I'll finish off the finer details and cleaning up on these red red orks when I'm using them again next month, maybe with a a slightly re-jigged list, but for now I'm happy enough with how they've turned out.

I guess in the previous pics at first sight they looked a bit more like the donor model with a Stompa head on, still do to some extent, but the head and armour detailing has definitely changed enough that I think Supa Stompa before Killa kan now.
