I kind of like the short fat version too. It is much bulkier than the gatling blaster, so I think the shorter length offsets this quite nicely. Again a shot where it is mounted on the titan might give  better impression.

I gotta say that I disagree with the claim that plasma weaponry is "sleek and deadly". It might be for infantry, but the Leman Russ Executioner has a rather short barelled gun, and all previous incarnations of the Titan PLasma Cannon and PLasma Destructor have been rather bulky. The Plasma blastgun is the only real exception I can think of.

I would prefer it (the 'gun' part) to stay the same length as the Plasma Blastgun, just with an extended rear armour mounting section.

What about cross-section, same barrel-size and coil dimensions? I'm worried that it makes for a very small Warlord-only weapon.

Ok, as requested here's the differing plasma weapons on the Robot itself (using the stock of the Gattler).
First up is the Blastgun barrels, no change in size, just chopped and changed to 3:

Second is the Blastgun Barrels 3D scaled to the same length as a Gattler's barrels:

Third is the Blastgun barrels 2D scaled from the front to make a large but short plasma weapon:

And last up we have the long-barrel version, same cross section as the Blastgun barrels but longer:

My favourite aesthetically is the second image, the all round scaled up version. Bulky and dangerous looking. But I realise this doesn't really fit with the current ethos, as it should just be the blastgun with more barrels as per the turbo lasers.

Unfortunately I'm off to the other side of the country (just 100 miles :D) to work for a week so no updates until next weekend I'm afraid.
I'll still be around to discuss ideas though.

I agree on both counts. :)

It's worth noting that the turbolasers on the Laser Blaster have the same barrels, but they plug on to longer rear extentions to the barrels before the main armour section starts.

Perhaps something similar could happen here to extend the apparent length of the weapon without modifying the size.

Agree on the second one. Third one might work if the piece behind the barrel was enlarged and maybe some additional techy doowhats added.

So the fourth picture is the way to go  :D

Sorry for the question, but how much it's tall?   (in centimeters)
